Game Changers: "Fixer Upper" Star Joanna Gaines' Story

When I listened to Joanna's story, I am inspired to trust in the Lord for every season of my life and rest in the fact that He knows the plans He has for me, plans to prosper me and to give me an expected end.  Life takes us at different crossroads and taking the time to stop and check with our heavenly GPS (God's Plan in Season) is the smartest thing to do.  It's hard to see the whole picture when you are in the frame so trust in your Creator to lead and guide you each step of the way. 

Game Changers: Misty Copeland

One of my daughters wants to be a prima ballerina and this year for her birthday I bought her the book "Firebird" by Misty Copeland.  Our love for Misty Copeland started and thus we have read, watched and listened to everything Misty Copeland.  She is a true inspiration because she has been breaking every stereotype that stood between her and her dreams and winning with grace.  When we read the news that she has been promoted to Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theater, we couldn't be happier because she epitomizes what Honeycomb Inspiration stands for: Passion. Hard Work. Determination. Inspiration.  We can all learn from her life story and her journey to get where she is today.  We salute a true Honeycomb Inspiration and today's Game Changers: Misty Copeland!  

Movie Rudy - Prove What

The above quote that "In this lifetime, you don't have to prove nothing to nobody, except yourself" is the key to unlock and unleash our greatest potential.  We do not have to prove anything to anybody because people's opinions of us are just that, opinions.  Only we know the real us and we owe to nobody but ourselves to be great even if it's to an audience of one.  So let's stop trying to prove ourselves to others and let's be all about proving to ourselves that we can!!

Game Changers: Nick Vujicic

I listened to Nick Vujicic when he was a guest on the Trinity Broadcasting Network show "Praise The Lord" and I am delighted to feature him as today's Game Changers.  Nick Vujicic is a motivational speaker and evangelist born without limbs and he uses his life story to impact young and old around the world.  After years of seeking the meaning of his life without limbs, he found Christ along with his identity and purpose.  His perspective and love of life was forever transformed and at the age of seventeen he founded his non-profit organization Life Without Limbs and is now a proud husband and father.  Nick Vujicic's life story teaches me that all things are possible through Christ and with a thankful heart.
