I am the proud owner of a Kate Spade tote and I love everything about it: the simple design, the quality of the leather, and the classy look.  I happened to walk into the store after coming out of a Michael Kors store disappointed because that particular day my mind was made up that I will treat myself to one of his designers bags.  I came out wondering what all the fuss was about but really to each their own.  I was on my way out of the mall when I passed by a Kate Spade store and decided I had nothing to lose to go in.  As soon as I walked in, my eyes were drawn to my bag and the rest, as they say, is history.  

And of course my curiosity about the person behind the business led me to find this video I share below about the power couple behind the brand Kate Spade.  As you watch, be inspired to look closely at your own life and you might stumble upon a million-dollar idea!

Still We Rise

This world we live in can bombard us with so many blows that we sometimes forget who we are in the midst of our responsibilities and challenges.  Honeycomb inspiration was created based on Proverbs 16:24 to be that outlet of sweet refreshing and inspiration to rise above any challenge and adversity we may face.  This is meant to be a community for anyone whose reality clashes with God's truth of identity, purpose, and hope.  We are born for greatness and living below that standard calls for frustration, anger, and depression.  Sometimes what we need is a ray of inspiration to shed God's light in those dark places to remind us that in spite of our mistakes and wrong choices, still we rise and we will not be counted out.  Be encouraged in your pursuit to be better today than you were yesterday because yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not guaranteed but today is your present to start over again armed with the lessons you learned from your past.  Here is to a new beginning in loving ourselves and rising above every negativity that tries to alter the truth of God's best for us!!
